Conversation Tips
• Be You: What's natural for you to talk about, do that. People are drawn to authenticity.
• Ask about Thanksgiving: It could be natural to ask if they have any Thanksgiving traditions, or what their Thanksgiving looks like in general.
• Ask about their interests: People love to talk about the things they love. So, ask if they have any hobbies or what they do in their spare time. Again, allow them to teach you as they share their heart with you.
• Ask about church. Don’t feel the need to make your conversations overly spiritual, but if you sense an opening in the conversation ask them if they go to, or how they feel about church. No need to be pushy or feel some necessity to invite them to crucible. But asking about church could be an easy way to get into some sort of conversation about Jesus.
