Underground College Collective

UGC seeks to see students transformed and disciples made on every campus in Tampa Bay.

We first planted our campus ministry in the fall of 2021 at the University of South Florida, hoping to branch out into other campuses in the future. It’s not unfamiliar to us that college is a formative time in people’s lives. Now more than ever, college students question their purpose, wonder about their future, and many times doubt their worth and identity in the process.

What these students need is not our friendship, conversations, or even our bible studies. These students need an encounter with the living God and to reclaim their purpose in Him. We want to cultivate safe spaces for young adults to experience this for themselves, and these are just some of the tools we use to do that.

But it doesn’t just stop there. We want to inspire students to follow Jesus AND fulfill the great commission by empowering them to go and make more disciples. Not to simply believe in Him but to fully belong to Him. Through mentorship, leadership opportunities, and intentional discipleship, we want to build up those who will fight for the kingdom come.

We cannot continue in this mission in our own strength. We are in need of the Lord’s direction and provision, and are always in need of prayer for our leadership, the lives of our students, and the campus we are trying to reach.
