Preparing for SUMMIT

In microchurch life we need space to think, pray and plan with our teams for each new ministry season. The Underground Network designs the Leadership Summit to inspire good thinking and mission but ultimately how the weekend impacts your people depends on how you prepare. This resource will help you start thinking about how to steward this weekend well and lead your microchurch at SUMMIT.

Microchurch Diagnostics

During our annual SUMMIT this year, we looked at the 6 components that have been observed by impactful Jesus movements throughout history, as proposed by Alan Hirsch as mDNA. We considered how we might use this framework in our microchurches, to look for, grow, or cultivate these components in our microchurch communities.

We’ve created diagnostic sheets for each of the 6 sessions held at SUMMIT, to look at each element and to assess the ways these elements show up in your microchurch DNA. These sessions include Jesus is Lord, Disciplemaking, APEST, Organic Systems, Sentness, and Suffering Community. Access them here as a packet of all 6 diagnostics or as individual resources for specific components.

We hope you’ll find this helpful to take a closer look at the DNA that makes up your microchurch community.
